I came back from the US on New Year’s Eve. When I got home I found something..

(What the heck is this….!?)

It was pea sprouts which was cut flatly and put in a watered ziplock case.

Me: Are you cultivating pea sprouts?

Jeff: Yeah! It will grow even after cutting and we can eat them again.

Oh, I gotta change the water. (He changed it very gently)

A few days later…

Me: When can we eat this? It grows so slowly..

Jeff: Hmm…it’s very slow. I cannot wait…maybe I should get another one. (depressed a little)

Eventually Jeff bought another one and divided it into two ziplock cases.

Jeff: Now we have three of them! We can eat it in rotation!

Me: hahaha

A few days later, the first one grew enough.

Me: We can eat this soon.

Jeff: Um, I will “shuka” tomorrow.

Me: “Shuka…?” Oh, you mean “ship”? Shipping to the table? hahaha

Jeff: No! “Shuka”….harvest?

Me: Oh, “Shukaku”. Okay.

Like this, he is working on farming now. lol

He put them in balcony to get more sunshine.

I like how he takes care of them.:)

Grow up, pea sprouts!!
