on our 8th anniversary, Jeff and I officially got married.
We have been through so much in these 8 years,
I cannot put down all the things here.
We have supported each other on the trough of the bust,
and finally get to where we are today.
We are grateful that we have so many supports from friends and family!
When it comes to “marriage”, I remember when I was12 years old,
my teacher asked me to write a letter to the future me aged 20 years old.
At that time, I was thinking what I can and what I can’t do in wheelchair.
I remember that I wanted to ask the future me in the letter if I would get married by 20 years old.
However I couldn’t ask so because I thought that
I could never get married because I am in wheelchair,
and I didn’t want to make myself feeling sad.
Last month I visited my home with Jeff.
When I was cleaning my stuff, surprisingly I found the letter.
Once I opened it, I remembered the memory and the emotion of the 12 years old me.
I remembered how helpless and heart-broken I was.
If I could turn back time, I would tell the 12 years old me that:
“You will meet a very nice man at the age 20,
and marry him in 8 years. So don’t worry.”
“Marriage” can be done in wheelchair.
Thanks to Jeff, I could make it come true.
Thank you for finding me. Thank you for being with me.
Thank you for becoming my family.
We, as husband and wife,
will make a wonderful family with a lot of laughs.
Thank you all for supporting us.
We are so happy.
