I wore a special wedding dress the other day for photo shooting of Co-Co Life.
This wedding dress is designed for Moon Rider. Easy to wear, but still really beautiful.
I have heard of this dress before, but I didn’t expect I would wear it in person…!
I guess some Moon Riders who read this blog are dreaming about wearing a wedding dress and walking virgin road in the future.
In this post, I will introduce the special wedding dress, and show you some pictures taken on the photo shooting day.
Many people think that a wedding dress can be wore by standing up.
But this special wedding dress is separated into 2 parts; top and skirt.
It is produced by SOGA corporation.

At first, put the skirt part on the wheelchair. (You transfer to another chair in advance.)
The seating part is stretchable and just 1 cloth, not like a regular fluffy layered material so that Moon Rider can sit comfortably for long time.
You sit on the skirt and zip up on the side afterwards.
This picture was taken a couple weeks before the photo shooting.
You wear the skirt like this.
Some parts of skirt bottom can be set inside not to get stuck with the front tires of wheelchair.
The side zipper.
This skirt can cover your whole legs, so you can keep on thin pants or skirt under the dress.
After that, wear the top.
This top also has a zipper on the side.
Therefore, easy to wear/take off for people who are difficult to move their arms freely.
My wheels were also decorated too!
Really cute when the wheels are rolling especially.
I’ve never thought about decorating the wheel like this.
It’s awesome! My wheelchair was changing to white wedding image from a regular black image.
Set his hair too!
I wore a veil and hold a white bouquet for the 1st scene.
I was kinda nervous with the wedding dress I haven’t wore before.
However thanks to all staffs’ kind support, I could keep smiling while photo shooting.
Put some pink flowers for the 2nd scene…
Changed to a pink bouquet as well.
I really loved pink style! It was very gorgeous!
We are so excited to see the photos in the magazine next month.
We have done photo shooting at the famous hotel in Tokyo bay area.
Thank you so much!
I felt like a dream that I could be in a wedding dress for a magazine!
Actually, I got this wonderful offer from an editor who was impressed by the post I wrote on my marriage day.
I have never expected the little sad story would lead to this great opportunity…
I really appreciate it.
I hope I can encourage the people who read Co-Co Life that
“Marriage can be done even for people with disabilities!”
