Hi, it’s Mizuki.
It has been 2 weeks since I got Syracuse.
I had worried so much and I was not sure how I can survive here in the beginning.
With the supports from my new friends, I start believing that I will be fine living in this city.
Things are getting better from here.
Although my research is sponsored by a Japanese company, living in the States costs a lot more than I had first pictured.
The daily living expenses are expensive.
The sponsor only supplies up to certain amount of money each month so I am not able to get all necessary home appliances, food and furnitures at once.
I do not have many choices but giving up on getting those necessary home appliances.
At the first 2 weeks, I had chances to meet Japanese people who have lived here for long time.
They are really nice and made me feel “I’m not alone here!” Many of them even told me that they can give me a ride and help at any time.
Furthermore, some people even gave furniture, home electronics, and food to me.
I’m gonna cook rice!!!
I really appreciate it deeply! Thank you very much.
I think I can live in here with the support from them.
And I really think I should pay the kindness forward somehow!
