It has been 3 weeks since I moved to Syracuse.
Time flies so fast! It has been 2 weeks since Jeff went back to Japan.
We miss each other, of course.
At the same time, we recall the feeling of having long distance relationship because we did it for 4 years before. It is nostalgic.
The time difference between New York and Tokyo is 13 hours now.
(It changes once a year by season.)
Day-night reversal.
When I wake up at 7am, Jeff eats dinner at home at 8pm.
When Jeff gets up at 5:30am, I am waiting for a bus to go home at 4:30pm.
He is a morning person and doesn’t have much overtime at work.
I go to work in late morning and go back home around 4:30-5pm-ish.
Our daily schedules somehow work out pretty well to call each other.
One of the things has been changed from 4 years ago is the tool for international phone call.
We used to use Skype a lot. But now we use FaceTime!
Skype is still good. I sometime use it even now.
However for Mac or iPhone users, I highly recommend to use FaceTime.
Good video quality, and the sound is very stable.
I am not not familiar with technology products, but Jeff recommended Apple product very much.
That is why I changed to iPhone and MacBookAir from my old phone and PC. Maybe it was planned for this long distance relationship…lol
