It has been 1 week since I got Syracuse. Various things happened within my first week, and a unforgettable event occurred when I moved in an apartment last week.

Hi, it’s Mizuki. On the 4th day, I finally had the chance to meet my professor. He even set up a a lunch meeting for me and invited other professors and researchers. After I talked with them, I realized that they are very interested in and look forward to my research.

The Best Wedding Ceremony at Fashion Show!

Jeff and I joined “Bari-Colle (Barrier-Free Collection) ”, a fashion show organized by NHK TV Program Baribara, last weekend!

Many people came to see the show.

We dressed upin real wedding dresses and the team throw a ceremony party for us with all the audiences.

Countdown for Long Distance Marriage

The date I will leave for the US will soon be finalized. I don’t really worry about living or researching in the U.S., but I worry about being in a long distance marriage. People often say, “You must be lonely.”, “Is Jeff alright by himself?”. To be honest, I feel lonely. Tears will come out if I think about this seriously. Therefore I keep myself busy so I will not to think about the upcoming sadness too much.
