My research has started since last October and finally is reaching to an end this month! <\/span><\/p>\n

Only few days left to go back home, Japan. <\/span><\/p>\n

When I first got Syracuse, I had only worries like \u201cI don\u2019t know if I can live here for 1 year\u2026\u201d, but everywhere can be the best place after you live there a while. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now I really love Syracuse including its inconvenience and lots of hills. hahaha. <\/span><\/p>\n

I really thank people who have supported me here in Syracuse!<\/span><\/p>\n

At Access Living in Chicago where I visited last month<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

During the one year of research, I visited 10 states and 20 cities across the country. <\/span><\/p>\n

I was so surprised that I interviewed almost 100 people\u2026! <\/span><\/p>\n

I deeply thank all people from government offices, companies, disability organizations, and research institutes who helped me with my research. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although I was only able to release parts of the\u00a0 <\/span>interviews in this blog, I will definitely utilize those information in my future research and projects. <\/span><\/p>\n

At last, Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) at Syracuse University where I have worked with arranged a farewell party for me yesterday. <\/span><\/p>\n

I cannot say thank you more than enough to BBI, especially to the chairman, Peter Blanck. <\/span><\/p>\n

When I was looking for a research institute, which is interested in my research, in the US last summer, Peter was the only one who said \u201cPlease join my research institute\u201d immediately. <\/span><\/p>\n

If I could not have met him, I would not be able to carry out this research which gave me so much learning and wonderful experience. <\/span><\/p>\n

Peter, thank you so much for giving me this precious year!<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the end of my research year in the US, but this is not the end of my mission. <\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s more important is how I utilize the information from now on. <\/span><\/p>\n

My real challenge will start from here! I\u2019m gonna continue my work even after going back to Japan! <\/span><\/p>\n
