Jeff and I have been dating for 7 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been 3 years since Jeff moved to Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Japanese has got really good now. <\/span><\/p>\n

90% of our daily verbal conversations are in Japanese.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jeff was unable to speak Japanese at all and I was unable to speak English when we first met in the States.<\/span><\/p>\n

No matter what Jeff said to me in English I always replied to him in Japanese. <\/span><\/p>\n

It turns out his Japanese has got really good after 7 years. Haha.<\/span><\/p>\n

We speak in Japanese but we text each other in English. <\/span><\/p>\n

I am still able to type in English! LOL.<\/span><\/p>\n

Typing in English is just much faster than typing in Japanese. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is also easier for us to share our thought in written English.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wish we can speak in English but I just got too shy when talking to Jeff in English.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have started learning Chinese every now and then in the past 3 years. <\/span><\/p>\n

I started from learning Chinese vocabularies and phrases that are commonly used in daily life and they come to handy in daily life conversations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although, I am still a beginner in Chinese and make mistakes while using Chinese, Jeff is very happy and impressed when I speak in Chinese. <\/span><\/p>\n
