Jeff speaks very fluent English like a native English speaker.<\/div>\n

His good English skill hasn’t changed since the day when we first met in US in 2007. <\/span><\/p>\n

But his mother language is not English, but Mandarin Chinese.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After he started dating me, he learned Japanese very quickly….but my Chinese skill is…..<\/span><\/p>\n

I took a Chinese class (beginner level for American student) for 1 year at school in US.<\/span><\/p>\n

After I came back to Japan, I took a private Chinese class for 6 months (beginner~introduction level) in Ikebukuro in Tokyo, and last year I also took an open-class for business workers for 1 year (beginner~introduction level again)….<\/span><\/p>\n

and now I don’t study Chinese at all again. lol <\/span><\/p>\n

My Chinese skill remains beginner level for 7 years, but I think I’m good at the pronunciation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Because all beginner class start from pronunciation. hahaha<\/span><\/p>\n

I don’t really have problems if I cannot speak Chinese, but need to understand if I wanna talk with Jeff’s family. <\/span><\/p>\n

Last month his mother and brother came to Japan. <\/span><\/p>\n

They talked a lot, but I couldn’t really understand. <\/span><\/p>\n

I always feel regretful every time I meet them…<\/span><\/p>\n
