2 years have passed since Jeff moved to Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Japanese is getting better and his appearance is Asian, so people often mistake him for Japanese. <\/span><\/p>\n

But there are many moments that I feel he is really Taiwanese, not Japanese in our life. So I’m gonna share some of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Arrange the melody of Japanese songs he doesn’t know.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We often sing together at home.<\/span><\/p>\n

If I start singing a foreign song we both know, he would join me with the correct melody. <\/span><\/p>\n

But if I sing an old Japanese song or commercial song,<\/span><\/p>\n

he would join me with melody arranged by himself. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then I say “the next melody should be ‘……’!!!” to correct him, <\/span><\/p>\n

but he replies “I just arranged because I don’t know the song.” <\/span><\/p>\n

I kinda feel sorry for what I said….well I’m impressed at his mind that he just wanna join me even if he doesn’t know the song.<\/span><\/p>\n

Familiar with Japanese\u00a0animation, Doraemon, but not Sazae-san.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Doraemon is very famous in Taiwan too. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is broadcasted on TV and released as manga books. <\/span><\/p>\n

But one day I said “Let’s watch Sazae-san together.”, <\/span><\/p>\n

he said “Whose story is that?”……in Japan, both Doraemon and Sazae-san are very famous and popular. <\/span><\/p>\n

All Japanese know both animations. <\/span><\/p>\n

I hope Sazae-san is also released in Taiwan someday.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Laugh at foreign movie dubbed in Japanese.<\/span><\/h4>\n

In Taiwan, there is no foreign movies dubbed in Chinese. <\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore the movie dubbed in Japanese is very funny for him. <\/span><\/p>\n

He always laughs every time we watch a foreign movie on TV.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Feel uncomfortable with sitting on the floor.\u00a0<\/span>Love sitting on the chair.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Taiwanese people don’t have a habit to sit on the floor. Jeff ‘s ass gets hurt easily if he sit on the floor for 20-30 mins only. <\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore although our apartment is very small, he got a chair for him. <\/span><\/p>\n

And every time we go back to my home together, my family and relatives are relaxed on the floor. <\/span><\/p>\n

But only Jeff sits on the chair and relaxed with us.<\/span><\/p>\n
