I’m going to the U.S. to research the employment system for people with disabilities. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However I don’t think I have enough knowledge of this field. <\/span><\/p>\n

What I have is my job hunting & career experience and the knowledge I got from my previous job, improving working environment for employees with disabilities. <\/span><\/p>\n

My research sponsor, DUSKIN AINOWA Foundation, told me that I should have the basic information about people with disabilities of Japan before going to the U.S, or I won’t be able to share anything with professors over there.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, since last month, I have visited people who have researched or worked on improving employment of people with disabilities for long time. <\/span><\/p>\n

I got to know that things I knew were just a little bit of a huge world. <\/span><\/p>\n

I have been thinking that “The employment system for people with disabilities in the U.S. is way better than Japanese one.” <\/span><\/p>\n

But, in terms of policies and services supporting people with disabilities, Japan’s policy is more well developed. <\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, the U.S. has so many different methods for vocational rehabilitations which Japan really want to introduce to people with impairments in Japan after customizing and localizing them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m so excited to see a whole new world! <\/span><\/p>\n

I believe I will find many interesting things in the U.S. as well.<\/span><\/p>\n
