I\u00a0would like to\u00a0introduce a hotel I stayed in San Francisco.<\/p>\n

The hotel is “La Quinta Inn & Suites San Francisco Airport West\u201d\u00a0where is 10 minutes drive from San Francisco International Airport. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Although it is 2 star hotel it is very clean. The staffs at reception are very friendly, too.\u00a0<\/div>\n

I stayed ADA room, a wheelchair accessible room.\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n

The room has a\u00a0refrigerator, microwave.\u00a0coffee maker, and sink. Very\u00a0convenient.<\/div>\n

The door of bathroom is not slide type, but push and pull type.\u00a0<\/div>\n

It is light. No steps\u00a0between a bedroom and bathroom. \u00a0<\/div>\n

The height is easy to reach for a wheelchair user. I love the big\u00a0mirror. \u00a0<\/div>\n

This is the amenity. I didn\u2019t like when shampoo and\u00a0conditioner are mixed…<\/div>\n

No big problems do far, but I found 3\u00a0points that the hotel would need to improve.<\/div>\n

1. The position of hanger rail is too low\u00a0<\/h5>\n

For wheelchair users, general hanger rail height is too high.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
They could easily use If it is little bit lower like ADA room in Minnesota which I introduced before<\/a>.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
However, \u00a0this time\u2026<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n

The height is too low and my shirts reach to the floor.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Making it too low is not really a good thing.<\/div>\n

2. Complicated hangers<\/h5>\n

The hangers are just too complicated.<\/p>\n

I need to put a top part into the hole like the picture.<\/p>\n

Some people in wheelchair have disabilities in their hands too.<\/p>\n

It would be really difficult to use those hangers for them.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t understand why this hotel equipped this type of hangers in ADA room.<\/p>\n

When using the hangers, you need to put the stick into the hole.<\/p>\n

It was a bit difficult for me although I don\u2019t have a disability on my hands. All hangers in this room is this type…<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Water easily comes out to the floor when taking a shower<\/h5>\n

It is almost flat between shower and toilet space.<\/p>\n

So once you take a shower, the water easily comes out to the floor.<\/p>\n

The wet floor makes people slip easily.<\/p>\n

Since some people in wheelchair cannot control their body well, it could be really dangerous.<\/p>\n

\u3000* Close to the airport, but 7 mins walk to the closest bus stop. It might be inconvenient without a car. <\/span><\/p>\n

Cost performance: \u2606\u2606\u2606\u2606\u2606<\/span><\/p>\n

Although some facilities made me disappointed, I still found a merit to stay in the hotel! <\/span><\/p>\n

There is a Japanese restaurant, Bashamichi in the hotel, which is very popular\u00a0among Japanese people who live in San Francisco or those who come to the Bay Area for\u00a0business trip.<\/span><\/p>\n

I had dinner a\u00a0couple of times during my stay. <\/span><\/p>\n

The restaurant serve\u00a0various kinds of Japanese dishes and alcohol. <\/span><\/p>\n

My favorite was Sukiyaki! <\/span><\/p>\n
