I don’t really cook when I live by myself.<\/p>\n

My daily diet completely relies on frozen food and instant food. hahaha.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the Japanese people living in Syracuse, though, I could have a happy and healthy day once in a while!<\/p>\n

This week, I was invited to their houses and had a great time with great\u00a0food.<\/p>\n

I’ve heard that I should tell others if I want to make my wish come true. That is really true!<\/p>\n

We\u00a0had some fun together and\u00a0I really felt I was at home again. “This is how we spend New Year’s holidays in Japan”.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I really miss the happy\u00a0New Year’s holidays with family and friends…tears.<\/p>\n

The other day, I had “Japanese-like drinking party”!<\/p>\n

The Japanese wife bakes breads at home!<\/p>\n

In Japan, we have various kinds of fancy yummy breads even at supermarket, but not in here in the U.S…<\/p>\n

Because of the situation too, I’m just amazed every time I see her breads!<\/p>\n

You know what?<\/p>\n

She also prepared Ozoni (special soup for New Year in Japan)!<\/p>\n

“I thought Mizuki hasn’t have one yet, so.” She said. It’s very sweet of her!<\/p>\n

The family is from Kobe, Japan. And they are my ideal couple as well!<\/p>\n

The husband, a professor, is always sharing with me about the education for children with disabilities.<\/p>\n

We kept talking, talking, talking…. until 1am on that day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Actually… at some point I cannot get used to the life in here, and I have been thinking by myself.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Although I had lived in the U.S. before, I feel like I live in a new country since the place and my position are totally different from where I was as a student in the past.<\/p>\n

They listened to what I was thinking and gave me some advices….now I’m feeling much better!<\/p>\n

I thought I am not like a Japanese person,\u00a0<\/p>\n

it seems that I really do think the way typical Japanese people do.<\/p>\n
