{"id":8862,"date":"2016-01-08T18:18:06","date_gmt":"2016-01-08T23:18:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/moonrider7.com\/en\/?p=8862"},"modified":"2016-03-31T20:42:56","modified_gmt":"2016-04-01T00:42:56","slug":"delivery-system-in-the-u-s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moonrider7.com\/en\/2016\/01\/08\/delivery-system-in-the-u-s\/","title":{"rendered":"Delivery System in the U.S."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-6264\" src=\"https:\/\/moonrider7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/MR7_postman-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"MR7_postman\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It has been 3 months since I moved to Syracuse.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I used to live in a dorm when I studied\u00a0in Wisconsin before, but this time I&#8217;m living in an apartment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I have various new experiences by living here.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One of them is &#8220;delivery&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In Japan, if you are not at home when a deliveryman comes, he will leave an undeliverable item notice in the mailbox.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u00a0request redelivery day and time by call or on the website, the deliveryman will come back almost the exact day &amp; time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the U.S. &#8230;well at least Syracuse&#8230;though&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Depending on the delivery company and the size of package, a deliveryman just leave a package in front of my apartment door&#8230;..!!!<\/p>\n<p>What if someone steals&#8230;!?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-6262\" src=\"https:\/\/moonrider7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_0298-e1452290720998-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0298\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/moonrider7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_0298-e1452290720998-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/moonrider7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_0298-e1452290720998.jpg 263w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I sometimes find\u00a0an undeliverable item notice on my door too.<\/p>\n<p>If I sign on the back side, a deliveryman would leave the package in front of the door on the next business day (I cannot request a day &amp; time).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-6263\" src=\"https:\/\/moonrider7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_0835-e1452290752276-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0835\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Although the country size is totally different between the U.S. and Japan,<\/p>\n<p>I realized that the delivery system in Japan is so good.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Also it takes more time for delivery in here.<\/p>\n<p>Although I am\u00a0an Amazon Prime member, I need to wait at least 2 days to get my ordered item.<\/p>\n<p>In Tokyo, I can get it within the day if I order something.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Well, I gotta be more patient and wait for my package&#8230;!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It has been 3 months since I moved to Syracuse.
