Hi, it\u2019s Mizuki.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been 2 weeks since I got Syracuse. <\/span><\/p>\n

I had worried so much and I was not sure how I can survive here in the beginning. <\/span><\/p>\n


With the supports from my new friends, I start believing that I will be fine living in this city. <\/span><\/p>\n

Things are getting better from here.<\/span><\/p>\n


Although my research is sponsored by a Japanese company, living in the States costs a lot more than I had first pictured. <\/span><\/p>\n

The daily living expenses are expensive. <\/span><\/p>\n

The sponsor only supplies up to certain amount of money each month so I am not able to get all necessary home appliances, food and furnitures at once. <\/span><\/p>\n


I do not have many choices but giving up on getting those necessary home appliances.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the first 2 weeks, I had chances to meet Japanese people who have lived here for long time. <\/span><\/p>\n

They are really nice and made me feel \u201cI\u2019m not alone here!\u201d Many of them even told me that they can give me a ride and help at any time. <\/span><\/p>\n


Furthermore, some people even gave furniture, home electronics, and food to me.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
