Do you wanna know about yummy restaurants in Hawaii?

I introduce wheelchair accessible places I visited and recommend! I

haven’t checked the bathroom at all places, so I write its information only where I found.

1. Eggs’n Things

Address:343 Saratoga Road Honolulu

This restaurant is very famous for Japanese people.

I recommend here more than the one in Waikiki beach, because of less customers .

Usually customers need to go up stairs and eat on the 2nd floor.

But when I checked-in at the counter of the 1st floor, the staff let us use the table (only 1 table is available “inside” of the restaurant) on the 1st floor .

2. HEAVENLY Island Lifestyle

Address:Shoreline Hotel Waikiki 1F. 342 Seaside Ave, Honolulu

Located on the 1st floor of Shoreline hotel.

There is approx. 10 stairs at the entrance, but you will find a lift right next to it.

Once you press the button to call reception, a staff will come to help you soon.

If you love organic food, you should visit here!

Loco Moco

3. Cheeseburger in Paradise

Address:2500 Kalakaua Ave Honolulu

We found a nice burger restaurant near our hotel.

The entrance and inside are no stairs.

I enjoyed blue cheese and banana burger which I can never find in Japan. I really love it!

4. Cheesecake Factory

Address:Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center 2301 Kalakaua Avenue Honolulu

If you have been to US, probably you know this restaurant.

I’ve been there once in San Francisco.

We couldn’t have a cheesecake after huge lunch, but had great meals.

They serve American size meal, so please be careful when ordering.

Dinner time is very crowded, so recommend to go for lunch.

5. Panda Express

Address:Royal Hawaiian Center, 2233 Kalakaua Ave

Yay! Panda Express! My friend and I have lived in US before, so really missed this!

You should try some American Chinese food!

For your info, the bathroom is available near panda express.

I recommend to check the location once you get Waikiki, because it is very convenient and you will often pass by here when going around.

You can also get fortune cookies!

6. Blue Ocean Seafood & Steak

Address:2449 Kuhio Ave Honolulu

Found this truck when walking around near hotel.

We bought a meal here, got beers at ABC store, and had girls talk until the midnight.

Shrimp + Mahimahi fish

7. Island Vintage Coffee

Address:Royal Hawaiian Center, 2301 Kalakaua Ave c215 Honolulu

So many Japanese tourists were there.

The acai bowl is kinda big, so I recommend to share with 2 people.

Enjoy your acai bowl with tasty drinks too!

8. Banan

Addre:3212 Monsarrat Ave. Honolulu

While we were in Hawaii, we got a message from friend saying that this dessert truck was introduced in Japanese TV.

She told me their dessert looks so good and we could see some handsome staffs too. haha.

By walking (up-hill) for 20 mins from Waikiki, we got tired, but coming here was really worth it!

The one I had was rich banana ice cream on a half cut papaya with coconuts, chocolate, cereal etc.

You can of course eat the papaya! (A regular cup or bowl is available too.)

Yes, I found the guy! hahaha.

This place has not know for the tourists yet, so he was little surprised when I asked him to take a picture together.

I will definitely come here for my next Hawaii trip.;)

* There are few tables to eat near the truck.

But it would be difficult to get a space as I expect this place gets popular anytime soon…

By the way, at the cafe right next to this truck, you can use the bathroom.

The bathroom is locked, so you need to buy something and borow the key.

9. Diamond Head Cove Health Bar

住所:3045 Monsarrat Ave #5, Honolulu, HI 96815

Also about 20 mins away from Waikiki.

I’ve read that this place led to the boom of acai bowl.

We had “pitaya bowl” which will be popular next to acai bowl.

I really loved the bright pink color. And I liked the taste better than acai:)

10. California Pizza Kitchen

Address:1450 Ala Moana Blvd., Ste. 3241, Ala Moana Center, Honolulu

Ala Moana Center has lots of restaurants.

If you want to have a pizza, I recommend this place.

Various kinds of pizza are waiting for you;9

I enjoyed the salad with peach!

11. Won Kee Restaurant

Address:100 N Beretania St # 106, Honolulu

We had din sum in China town.

Since 1 case is about 3 to 4 dollors, we could try many kinds of dishes.

I also found wheelchair accessible restroom in the restaurant.

12. Timi House

Address:82 S Hotel St, Honolulu

Cafe run by Taiwanese owner in downtown.

They have so many kinds of smoothie and milk tea.

You can also put tapioca in it!

I ordered banana strawberry smoothie plus tapioca.

13. Cholos

Address:North Shore Marketplace, 66-250 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa

When visiting Haleiwa with tour group, we had a very quick lunch in here.

Free time for lunch was really limited, so we ate for 5 mins after served. hahaha.

The inside of restaurant is really colorful and cute.

Spinach quesadilla. Very Good!

Famous/popular restaurants can be crowded very easily.

If you really wanna go to those restaurants, schedule as early as possible and try!

Some places are good to go if you change the time (ex. dinner plan -> lunch plan).

In this trip, I experienced only 1 restaurant without elevator.

The staffs were still nice and said to carry me and my wheelchair.

However, I saw 20-30 stairs and it was very narrow, and thought it’s dangerous for everyone.

Therefore I denied their offer eventually.

Well, still I can tell that the most of places are wheelchair accessible.

Please visit Hawaii and enjoy the food over there!
