One day when I was on my way home from hospital, I texted Jeff.
Mizuki: I just got done with the hospital.
Jeff: Oh? I am reading books.
Mizuki: Oh yeah? I am so hungry. What should we eat for lunch?
Jeff: I need another 10 minutes for my reading session.
Mizuki: OK! Can you make lunch when you are done with reading? I am walking home from here. I want to eat right when I get home!
Jeff: What?? Why are you been so selfish?!!!(#｀皿´)
You might not be able to feel how surprised I was when I translated all above into english.
Jeff really surprised me! He talked back to me like a native Japanese person at that moment!
Jeff also picked up bad Japanese words really fast…….from me!
I really need to be careful at choosing my words from now on……….
