Rainy season has come in Japan.
People always ask me if I brought an umbrella with me on a rainy day.
However I cannot use one because I use a manual wheelchair.
I wear a rainy coat instead. But a rain coat cannot cover my whole body and my legs and bag usually get wet, so I don’t really wanna go out.
I have to go to work even on a rainy day because I have a responsibility.
However I often decide not to go out if the plan can be canceled on that day.
Wearing/taking off a rain coat takes time. Handling a wheelchair with a rain coat gets a little difficult.
Thus going out on a rainy day is really troublesome.
When I was in US, I found people in Wisconsin didn’t use an umbrella even in rain.
In Japan, people use one even on a crazy typhoon day although they get all wet eventually.
By my experience in US, I often go out without rain coat for a short distance even in rain.
Then my friends are often surprised to see me. hahaha.
For moon riders, do you also feel that you don’t wanna go out on a rainy day?
Do you have any good ideas to go out in rain?
