Hi, it’s Mizuki. On the 4th day, I finally had the chance to meet my professor.
He even set up a a lunch meeting for me and invited other professors and researchers.
After I talked with them, I realized that they are very interested in and look forward to my research.
I have been depressed since I got Syracuse, but I decided not to give up regardless of the inconvenient environment for Moon Riders.
I believe that it is not good to give up before trying at anything.
I can do this!
Plus, I got to know great facts about Syracuse University.
The university offered
- the first US disabilities studies program
- the first higher education for people with disabilities in the world.
Too ashamed to say this, but I only searched about the institute I belong but didn’t really know about the school.
After I found out about this, I felt that coming here is my fate
I can think more positively because I think I was brought here for a reason.
Thanks to supportive friends, I have got to know some Japanese people living in this city.
Also I am planning to join some events for international students this week.
I wish I can get used to this environment and have a good time with smile everyday like before.
I will take up the challenge in this city!
