It is Jeff. I have come to Syracuse, New York, with Mizuki to help her get things set up for the first week.
We have been busy since our arrival on the 3rd, Saturday.
It has only been 4 days but we feel like we had been here for at least a month already.
A lot of things happened in these couple days.
When we first arrived at Syracuse. Our first impression was not pleasant.
The weather was cloudy.
No one is walking on the street.
There are many hills and I worry if Mizuki will be alright climbing the hills on wheelchair everyday.
We have heard that there will be more snow here then there in Wisconsin…
Everything is so spread out making it very difficult to get around without a car.
We have talked to other friends’ friends who had lived in Syracuse and those who are still living here and we all heard the same opinion.
“Syracuse’s first impression may not be good but you will eventually fall in love with this place if you give it enough time.”
We think it is so true.
The first few day here was not pleasant.
However, after talking with some locals and making some friends here we found the people here are extremely nice.
We start loving this place already!
