I don’t really cook when I live by myself.

My daily diet completely relies on frozen food and instant food. hahaha.

Thanks to the Japanese people living in Syracuse, though, I could have a happy and healthy day once in a while!

This week, I was invited to their houses and had a great time with great food.

I didn’t expect I could eat Oshiruko here…!!!!

Remember what I wrote before? (For your reference: Telepathy? The Gift from Japan)

I’ve heard that I should tell others if I want to make my wish come true. That is really true!

We had some fun together and I really felt I was at home again. “This is how we spend New Year’s holidays in Japan”.

I really miss the happy New Year’s holidays with family and friends…tears.

The other day, I had “Japanese-like drinking party”!

The Japanese wife bakes breads at home!

In Japan, we have various kinds of fancy yummy breads even at supermarket, but not in here in the U.S…

Because of the situation too, I’m just amazed every time I see her breads!

You know what?

She also prepared Ozoni (special soup for New Year in Japan)!

“I thought Mizuki hasn’t have one yet, so.” She said. It’s very sweet of her!

The family is from Kobe, Japan. And they are my ideal couple as well!

The husband, a professor, is always sharing with me about the education for children with disabilities.

Thank you very much!

We kept talking, talking, talking…. until 1am on that day.

Actually… at some point I cannot get used to the life in here, and I have been thinking by myself.

Although I had lived in the U.S. before, I feel like I live in a new country since the place and my position are totally different from where I was as a student in the past.

They listened to what I was thinking and gave me some advices….now I’m feeling much better!

I thought I am not like a Japanese person,

it seems that I really do think the way typical Japanese people do.

Alright, I will move forward one step this year!!
