Rainy season has come in Japan.

People always ask me if I brought an umbrella with me on a rainy day.

However I cannot use one because I use a manual wheelchair.

As I use a wheelchair, I’m often spoken by a stranger in the street.

Many people give me encouraging words, but some people just say negative words.

And I remember negative ones longer than encouraging ones.

I’ve used a wheelchair since 7 years old. My parents always told me “you can do anything besides walking.” But as I grew older, I found the things I can/can’t do by wheelchair. One of the timings was when someone asked me about my dream.

When taking a train by myself, I always ask a station staff to bring a ramp to get in the train.

I really appreciate station staffs’ hospitality.

But I don’t like that some station staffs go behind me to try to push my wheelchair without asking me anything.
