Yesterday I interviewed a wheelchair rugby player for “Paralympic Beauty” of Co-Co Life, a free magazine I am helping as volunteer work.

Wheelchair basketball is getting popular in Japan, but did you know about wheelchair “rugby” too?

The female player, Ms.Kagami, looks very mature and cool beauty in picture.

However she is actually very friendly and funny and talks a lot.

I really enjoyed interviewing.:)

The next Co-Co life will be released (will be online) in the end of Nov.

You can check my article with a beautiful picture there.

Look forward to it!

After the interview, I watched her team’s wheelchair rugby demonstration.

She is the only female player in the team! So cool!:D

But I’m just scared by the attacking sound of wheelchairs…well after the demonstration, I rode a rugby wheelchair and joined small trial games.

The wheelchair is totally different from mine.

It really fits my body and the tires easily turn around when I touch even just a little bit.

I felt just “WOW!” The ball used for wheelchair rugby isn’t a regular rugby ball, but like a volleyball. (The one I’m holding in the last picture.)

By the way, this is my 3rd article for “Paralympic Beauty”.

But actually we could take picture and do face-to-face interview by Co-Co Life staff for the first time.

Finally! I’m SO HAPPY!!

It’s not easy to make an appointment with an athlete because the magazine is a free paper and not famous yet, but will keep trying:)
