昨日はノルウェー王国大使館に行ってきました！
大使館なんて滅多に行く機会ないですが、今回は“Dive Diversity! ～広がる、私の未来と可能性～”というセミナーに参加しました。
ダイバーシティといっても色々ありますが、今回はジェンダー、異文化、障害者の分野でそれぞれ現状やこれからに期待することなどのお話がありました。
新しい発見は、品川女子学院での多彩な取り組み。
華道、茶道などの日本の文化をきちんと教えながら、国際的な活動もされていて、また将来起業できるようなスキルを身につける取り組みなどもされています。
こんな学校が増えると、社会で活躍する女性はどんどん増えていくでしょうね！
このセミナーでは、車イスでビジネスをされているミライロの垣内さんも登壇されました。
前々からfacebokでは繋がっていたのですが、やっと直接ご挨拶することができました～嬉しい！

I went to “Royal Norwegian Embassy” yesterday.
I don’t really have a chance to go to an embassy, but this time I attended a seminar named “Dive Diversity!” there.
Diversity includes various kinds of topics.
This seminar focused on gender, culture, and people with disabilities.
Each speaker talked about the current situation and future expectations in each theme.
The most impressed speech was the one by a head teacher of Shinagawa Joshi Gakuin (girls school).
The school has interesting programs for students.
The school thinks that teaching Japanese traditional cultures such as Japanese art of flower arrangement or tea ceremony are very important for becoming international person.
The students, of course, have classes like learning other countries, cultures, languages as well.
The school even has a class to experience to run their own business.
Very nice.
In this seminar, I met Mr.Kakiuchi, running his own business with his experience in wheelchair.
I’ve connected with him on facebook but finally I could meet him in person.
