自分のブログや他のサイトで記事を書いていると、「普段どんな本を読んでるの？」と聞かれます。
「文章をよく書く＝読書好き」と思われているようです。
答えは…私は本は基本的に読みません。
本を読むのが苦手というのが正しいかもしれません。
小難しい本はそもそも頭に入ってこないし、小説でも登場人物が３人以上になると覚えきれず、何度登場シーンを読み返すことか…。
その読み返す時間が面倒になって「やーめた」となってしまいます。
想像力がないのか、文字だけではその物語に入り込めないのです。
ちなみに、私の家族は本が好きです。
父がよく図書館で本を借りていたことを覚えているし、母も本を読んだり文章を書くのが得意です。
兄は高校の国語教諭なので仕事にも結びついています。
妹は小学校低学年から分厚いハリーポッターを読んでいました。
私に何があったのでしょうか…？(´д｀ι)
以前実家で、読書がいかに苦手だったかが分かる証拠を発見しました。
これは小学校低～中学年くらいの夏休みの宿題。
本を最低６冊読んで感想文を書かないといけませんでした。
でも本を読みたくなかった私は…
自分で本のタイトルを考え、タイトルから連想して感想を書き、先生に提出しました（笑）

結局、「文章をよく書く人＝読書好き」という人ばかりではないのです。
私は自分の文章がうまいとは思いませんが、伝えたいことはたくさんあります。
それを発信するツールの１つとして、文字にして表現しているのです。
あっという間に秋の気配がしてきましたね。
私にとっては今年も、”読書”の秋ではなく”食欲”の秋になりそうです(●´∀｀●)ﾉ

While writing some posts on my blog and for other websites, I am often asked “What kind of books do you usually read?”
They believe people who love writing love reading too, I guess.
The answer is… I don’t usually read any books.”
It might be better to say “I’m not good at reading.”
My brain cannot process a single word in a difficult book.
It cannot remember more than 3 people’s names in a fiction novel either, so I would need to read it back and forth again and again.
I get tired from reading easily.
I don’t know why but I cannot dive deep into the world of a story only by reading words.
By the way, my family (except me) love reading.
I remember my father often went to the library to borrow books.
My mother is good at reading and writing.
My brother is a high school teacher of Japanese language and literature.
My sister was reading very thick Harry Potter series books when she was 7 or 8 years old.
What happened to me…?(´д｀ι)
The other day, I found the proof how much I wanted to avoid reading.
The photo is my summer vacation homework at elementary school.
I needed to read at least 6 books and write a short report for each one.
However I didn’t want to read any books, so…
I just made up the book title, wrote a report whatever I could imagine from the title, and handed it in. LOL
I’m sorry, my teacher! m(；∇；)m
I can say that not everyone love reading even if for those often write article.
I don’t think I’m good at writing, but I have many thoughts that I want to share with readers.
I write as one of the tools to express my thoughts.
Autumn is coming to Japan already.
I’m gonna enjoy eating good foods in this season, not reading a book! (●´∀｀●)ﾉ
(In Japan, we say Autumn is good for food, reading books, art, sports etc.)
